Your match, your mates

Live sharing. Private mates. Your matchday with Same End.

One mate hosts a live picture they are allowed to capture and share. Invited mates join the picture and live chat, so they can follow the action, talk it over and support their team together.

A great chance. A missed sitter. A winner that has everyone out of their seats. Football gives us moments we want to share with our own people, even when we cannot all be in the same room.

Same End is a live sharing service for a private circle of mates. One mate hosts a live picture they are allowed to capture and share. Invited mates join the picture and live chat, so they can follow the action, talk it over and support their team together.

Your own little end of the ground

Same End starts with the people you choose. Send a room invitation privately to your group. The invitation brings your mates into the viewing room and its conversation; it is not a public broadcast or a public room directory. Keep the link inside your circle, because anyone who receives it may be able to join.

One invitation for picture and chat

Guests do not need a Same End account or an app download. They open the invitation in their browser, add a name and join in. Picture and conversation sit beside each other, so the match and your mates can stay in view. You can still use your usual group chat to arrange the evening and pass the invitation around.

A private circle, one shared picture and room to react together.

Make the moment social

It is about more than seeing a score. React to a chance, debate the decision and celebrate with the people who know what the result means to you. A shared playback delay helps the room settle around a common match moment. Each viewer has their own sound control, while the host keeps the original source playing with its sound on.

The live video travels peer to peer

The host captures the selected live tab locally. Video travels directly between participating devices over peer connections. A receiving mate can help pass the picture on to another mate. A separate cloud control service supports encrypted room details and chat; it does not carry the match video. That is the idea behind Same End’s private live sharing.

Three steps to bring your mates

  1. On a computer using Chrome or Edge, open a live source you are allowed to capture and share. In Same End, choose Share a tab, select that source tab and include tab audio.
  2. Choose Invite your mates. Copy the private invitation into your trusted group chat.
  3. Your mates open the link, add their names and join the picture and chat. Let the room prepare its shared start, turn on your own room sound and enjoy the match together.

See it working

The video on this page is a real recording of the Same End service using an original illustrated demo match. It shows sharing, a concealed private invitation, a mate joining and chat travelling both ways. The peer-forwarding diagram explains the design; it is illustrative. The film uses synthetic narration.

Use content you are allowed to capture and share. Same End does not provide match subscriptions or bypass a provider’s access controls. Start your private matchday at www.sameend.com — your match, your mates, your own little end of the ground.
